Welcome to Signalcamp. A 19th century ‘switchback’ to the railroad

Located at the southeast corner of Cayuga Lake, across the street from Stewart Park and the Cayuga Waterfront Trailhead, the property consists of three guest cottages ‘recycled’ from a derelict state in the late 1980s by British artist Paul Chambers.

The three cottages can be rented individually, or all three together for a larger gathering.

Bleu, the unofficial concierge at Signalcamp

Meet Bleu:

the cat in catbirdlake.

Bleu, the resident kitty at Signalcamp is a portly Russian gentleman who showed up one day out of the blue during the summer of 2012 — and never left. When he’s not napping under a bush or on the upstairs porch, you’ll find him patrolling the property making sure he knows what’s happening at all times. He is a social butterfly and loves company - and especially having his head scratched.

Bleu loves to give tours of the garden, and he’ll show you where all the wild catnip grows. He even made the international press for his impeccable hosting skills when a reporter from Traveling Cats came to visit. See the full story here.
